REPRESENTATIVE ANDY VARGAS EXPLAINS THE NEED FOR AUTOMATIC VOTER REGISTRATION IN MASSACHUSETTS2/1/2018 There are an estimated 700,000 eligible residents in Massachusetts that are not yet registered to vote. MBLLC priority legislation calling for Automatic Voter Registration would change that and Representative Andy Vargas is leading the charge for its implementation. Representative Vargas sees this as crucial to facilitating greater participation in our democracy for all residents of the Commonwealth.
