MBLLC PUSHES FOR BODY CAMERA LEGISLATION

On June 16, 2016, the MBLLC submitted a letter to leadership advocating for the introduction of body camera legislation before the close of the 2015-2016.

"Body camera technology has a proven benefit for both law enforcement and the public, and we ask that you bring this important legislation up for consideration".

"The MBLLC respectfully requests your support for passing body camera legislation this session so law enforcement agencies can deploy this technology in a meaningful way.  Our communities cannot afford to wait any longer".
