REP. MIRANDA TESTIFIES IN SUPPORT OF ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE

On Tuesday, June 4, 2019 MBLLC member Representative Liz Miranda spoke in support of her Environmental Justice bill, H761, which she filed with Representative Michelle DuBois. In summary, the bill would ensure that all MA communities gain equal protection from pollutants and environmental injustices.

The legislation would strengthen protections from pollution by modifying MGL Ch 21, ensure access to government, facilitate the creation of supplemental environmental projects, and prevent harm.
